PHILOSOPHY

Here at A Shed Load of Massage I believe that Massage and Reflexology can be really beneficial to many people irrelevant of age. *
My aim is to ensure that you receive the best service to suit your needs though a variety of Massage and Reflexology techniques.
This could be a Sports and remedial massage which can be beneficial to many people, not just Athletes and people recovering from injury.
It can be beneficial to maintaining muscle health and flexibility and can help towards preventing injuries when used regularly just like the professional athletes do.
Or
Relaxing / Pampering massage can help to relieve stress and strains from every day life as well having many other health benefits.
e.g Improves circulation
Aids with Sleep
Improves the lymphatic system which helps remove toxins from the body.
These are just a few of the benefits that massage can have.
I am always developing my knowledge and techniques, to make sure I am able to provide the best treatments possible to my clients.I am currently working toward my Btec level 6 (degree level) in Clinical and Sports massage this is the highest level for massage therapists in the UK.
*Please be aware
Massage is not suitable for everyone, please refer to contra-indications.

Hi everyone thanks for coming to take a look at whats happening and whats new.
This page is to let you know what I have been posting on Facebook and on other platforms so it ranges from general information to interesting articles and helpful tips. Also I will be updating it with up and coming appointments that are available. Hopefully this way everyone will know whats New, whats coming and keep up to date with information I give out.
As part of my year long Advanced Clinical massage course, I had to go to my first of three, four day hands on practicle in Brighton. Here are a few pictures and my certificates for the modules I have passed so far.

Did you know that reflexology encourages the body to rebalance and heal itself? By using points either on the feet or hands to help the flow of energy throughout the body, it can encourage the body to manage a range of different conditions for example, stress, some of the symptoms of menopause and insomnia to name a few. So why not book your treatment today and give yourself some care and attention?
Menopause. A subject that many of us are dealing with or thinking about. While reading one of my therapist magazines I came across these self care mindfulness tips on coping with emotions/feelings. Written by Clarissa Kristjansson, she is a mindfulness coach, founder of the Little Breathing Space and author of The Mindful Menopause.
Interesting read, hope they help.
